Xiaomi Launches Redmi 4 With 4100 Battery And A Deca-Core Processor
Xioami today added another member to their very successful Redmi family in Redmi Note 4. The phone is the latest addition to the series which recently sold its 110 millionth unit worldwide.The highlights of the phone are certainly a huge 4100 battery and a 10-core processor by MedikTek. Note 4 builds on the design of Note 3 and sports a similar 5.5 inch HD display. Under the hood, it is running MediaTek's Helios X20 deca-core processor.
The phone will be available in China from 26 August. The price of the 16 GB variant is 899 RMB (Rs. 9050 approx) and the price of the higher end variant is 1199 RMB (Rs.12080 approx).
Redmi series has been very fruitful in India as well. A report released by IDC suggests that Xiaomi shipped 880,000 Redmi Note 3 units in Q2 In India. That is the highest number for any smartphone sold online ever. The company also said that they have sold more than 1.5 million units of the phone.
This month they released Redmi 3s and Redmi 3s Prime in India. On the first sale of Redmi Prime 3S on 9 August the company sold 90,000 units of the phone.
